One Voice has developed a label to certify products "not tested on animals". Inspected by an independent certification body, the One Voice label guarantees that no animals were experimented on to produce either the product's formulation or its composition.
Cosmetics and pet food are the first products to bear this label. The label should be extended to other product ranges, such as domestic cleaning products or foodstuffs.

With this label, One Voice now has an extra tool to fight animal experiments and to develop substitute methods.Taking the criteria defined when the HSC international standard (Human Cosmetics Standard) was set up by the “European Coalition to End Animal Experiments”, for which the association is the French representative, the One Voice label extends its scope to products other than cosmetics. After the inclusion of animal feed in the certification context, cleaning products, stationery, paint or even foodstuffs may soon benefit from the One Voice label.
The One Voice label certifies that a complete range of products have not been tested on animals and is now recognised as one of the most demanding, guaranteeing that no experiments were used either in the product's formulation or in its composition. The independent body awards the certification at the end of an often long procedure to check the traceability and integrity of all components in a product. One Voice does not request any donations or membership for the label. The requesting party need only pay the audit costs, as is the case with most certification procedures.
Faced with pressure from consumers who are more and more looking for "ethical" shopping, and despite the level of excellence requested of certification candidates in this area, the list of One Voice labelled products continues to acquire new brands and open up to new product ranges.
