Life is in danger. Economic violence is developing everywhere, threatening the evolutionary future of all living beings, including humans.

 To try to stop this phenomenon, which is steadily leading the planet into disaster, it is the responsibility of each of us to be guided by our conscience. Because it is within us to find a solution One Voice is launching the “One World, One Conscience” movement.

Listening to our conscience
“Live simply that others may simply live”»… This was Gandhi’s philosophy several decades ago. Peace extended to all living beings, is not just a path to wisdom it is the only way possible to guarantee a future for the planet and those who live on it. But the choice of this path, which means salvation for all lives, rests in each of us. For it is we and we alone who can choose to reject violence. When we listen to our conscience we hear an ethical voice. What it tells us, what our heart tells us, is certainly not to harm our neighbour, regardless of their species, or even the earth that is beneath our feet. It tells us not to abandon ourselves to blind, frenetic consumption, dictated not by our needs but by the desire created entirely by industrial groups who are much too dependent on their short-term profits…

Individual actions
One World, One Conscience is based on the principle of non-violence to launch effective political actions. This method of struggle is the one which has already by chosen by great figures such as Gandhi or Martin Luther King who have marked History. By encouraging individual actions, able to launch the butterfly effect, One World, One Conscience means to put the conditions for our planet to survive within reach of all of us. Respecting life means giving a future to the planet and its human and animal inhabitants…

Acting on a daily basis
The way we live must change. Keeping our consumption habits cannot be sustained. The only planet we have cannot continue to meet our needs for much longer. It is therefore in this context of a planet-wide emergency that One World, One Conscience is offering a first gesture: Reduce our meat consumption. This simple gesture alone will enable us to solve many problems related to the environment, public health, hunger in the world and animal suffering. You will also be offered other eco-citizen gestures as part of the Operation Tree of Life for Living Forests, which more specifically targets mass deforestation on the planet, the consequences of which are catastrophic, both for the environment and for humans.
