Wild animals belong… in the wild!

A wild animal is meant to live in its natural environment. Sadly, the fashion for exotic pets means that lemurs, iguanas, Barbary apes, etc. now lead unhappy lives in our homes and cities.

These animals have basic physiological and psychological needs which simply cannot be met in someone's living-room.

And for every animal that survives capture and transportation, how many die? Similarly, the only way to obtain the young of certain species such as the great apes is to kill the mother.
Never bring back an animal as a holiday souvenir, whether alive or dead, as this is to contribute to the disappearance of species on which biodiversity depends.

Don't make holiday souvenirs a bad memory
We all know not to bring live wild animals back from our holidays. It's equally important not to bring dead ones either, with countless animals killed to make souvenirs.
